Photography talents needed for calendar fundraiser by Cambridge University Press Bookshop

• The public is invited to submit photos of Cambridge for consideration in the Cambridge University Press Bookshop calendar
• The calendar’s proceeds will go to charity
• The deadline for sending photos is 8 March 2026

Cambridge University Press Bookshop is asking the public to send them their best photos of Cambridge for consideration in the Bookshop’s 2027 charity calendar, which will go on sale next year.

The Bookshop’s charity calendar will be printed and sold in support of Book Aid, whose mission is to give people around the world who lack access to books the opportunity to read for pleasure, study and lifelong learning.

For the calendar, the Bookshop team needs twelve photos to depict the months, showing iconic Cambridge sights in spring, summer, autumn and winter – for example, snowy pictures for December, tulips for spring, and all the key Cambridge landmarks included across the twelve months.

To get involved, send your hi-res landscape photos as jpegs to calendar@cambridge.org, including the subject line “Charity Calendar photos” in your email. In your email, please include a quick note explaining what the photo depicts and where and when it was taken.

Pictures from the 2026 Cambridge Charity Calendar can be viewed on the Cambridge University Press & Assessment website, for inspiration.

The deadline for sending photos is 8 March 2026, at which point submissions will be judged by a panel including representatives from the bookshop and the design team at Cambridge University Press & Assessment, plus the celebrated local photographer Martin Bond, whose work as A Cambridge Diary is loved by people in Cambridge and beyond for his portraits of the city and its inhabitants.

The calendar will be produced in spring, in time to be sold from towards midyear 2026.
