We are delighted to support Pride this year and to showcase some of the Press's highlight titles on LGBTQ+ topics.
We are also very much looking forward to a couple of online author events we have planned for Pride. Details are still being finalised, but save the date for 30th June at 7pm for a panel event looking at the role of academic work in raising awareness of LGBTQ+ issues and lives. Featuring Jen Manion, Tyler Bradway & Ellen McCallum, Andrew Webber, Philip Ayoub, and Elizabeth Peel this promises to be a great discussion.
We will also be featuring a presentation by Phillip Ayoub of his recent paper on the role of Pride and LGBT+ rights activism in a socially conservative society on 24th June at 7pm.
